I cannot say enough good about the staff at Kennesaw NAPA Auto Center on Moon Station Road in Kennesaw, Georgia. I have known the Brothers since they opened the shop back in '89, and while I pride myself on doing most of my own work, I am getting to the point that I am not physically able to do so any longer. The week prior to Christmas 2024, I brought my 2003 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab 4wd 7.3L Diesel in for Jason and his team to change my oil/filter, transmission fluid/filter, transfer case fluid, and front and rear differential fluids. I had the ABS light on for some time and mentioned it to Jason to check it out and he found the right front wheel bearing hub needed to be replaced. After they performed a thorough inspection, they found the belt tensioner to be critically damaged as one of the 2 pulleys was no longer even attached, which was a serious issue for safe operation of my vehicle. Jason and his team fixed my truck, and they did so after I reviewed their findings and suggestions. NEVER has anyone at Kennesaw Auto Center tried to upsell me on any frivolous services, and they even determined my transfer case did not need the fluid changed so they did not waste my money and charge me for that service! A week after I had my F250 serviced, I had my son take his 2018 Ford F150 Extra Cab 4wd to Kennesaw Auto Center for an oil change. I received a phone call and was informed that the rear brakes were at minimum standards and it was not desirable to allow my son to drive back to college with the brakes needing service. I have trusted Kennesaw Auto Center for nearly 35 years and they still take care of me like I am Family; I feel like Family! I am proud to be a respected customer of Kennesaw Auto Center and more proud to have them taking care of next-generation of my family. Thank you for being reputable and honest professionals, something hard to find in our world today.

I had a very poor experience with Kennesaw Auto Center. Our 2012 Subaru Forester check engine light came on. I scanned the code myself and it indicated a misfire on cylinder 2. I came here for diagnostics on why the misfire was happening. A few hours after dropping the vehicle off the mechanic called me clearly frustrated and said "I can't figure this out". He said there was coolant fouling on the spark plug which could indicate a head gasket issue. He performed a block test which passed but when he tried to do a pressure test the radiator started leaking and he was unable to do anything further unless he replaced the radiator. I was quoted $2100 dollars for the raditator replacement and told that if it was a head gasket issue it could be an additional $7,000-$10,000. The radiator was not leaking prior to bringing it in although I do understand that doing a pressure test could have turned a pinhole or minor leak into a major one. Ultimately, I don't feel like they diagnosed our vehicle properly. The coolant fouling could have caused the misfire but it could have also been a bad spark plug, ignition coil, etc. I've replaced both those items and the misfire hasn't returned although it may if the head gasket is blown. In my opinion a good mechanic would have offered and started with a cheaper repair and escalated it as needed rather than defaulting to the most expensive repair possible with no other options. Additionally, $2100 for a radiator replacement is outrageous. A replacement radiator cost $200 and I was able to swap it out myself as a complete beginner in just 3 hours. I'm sure an experienced mechanic could do it much faster. I also received a quote from the dealership for the head gasket job ranging from $4,000-$6,000. Their quote was nearly double the dealerships. My assumption is they overcharging for labor or giving a price they knew was too high because they didn't want to deal with the job. I would not recommend Kennesaw Auto Center based on my experience.

Bill @ kennesaw auto center treated me first class customer!! I was down on my luck traveling to visit my mom in Ohio that has cancer. This happened @ 12:30 in the morning on interstate 75 I have triple AAA so I reached out to them for help service and ask them who would be a trusted preferred Shop and guy put me on hold and got back with me and said this is a preferred shop that has a real good rating with us and so I had to tow truck told me there. I slept in my truck until next day booked a hotel be on Sunday reached out Monday morning. Talked to Bill told him my situation. He said he would do his best to try to get me up on the road knowing that it was Christmas weekend holiday people off work he come out and chatted with me about my truck and said I can get you done by closing time and I said great. Their service was on and above Jerry Skidmore.
