I took the car in because of a noise when starting first thing in the morning. They replaced the battery but now the engine light stays on. They cleared it once but it came back on and now they want $150 to do an engine diagnosis. I did not have an engine light problem until after they worked on the car. I also thought they charged a lot more for a battery than most places. I’m having an issue with paying more for a problem I didn’t have before I took it in however they may be related, but I think they should’ve verified that before they gave him the car back
Don, I’m surprised that you have written a negative review about your recent experience at Kennesaw Auto Center. You were adamant that either your starter, or flywheel had failed, due to the noises your engine was making while cranking. We did not charge you for any testing and confirmed your battery had failed causing your problem. Our findings were much cheaper than the repairs you thought were needed. When you returned with a check engine light, we did clear it, and asked you to return if the light came back on. We informed you there would be a charge if it was not something we created. You even made an appointment to have the problem checked out. Clearly, we are not a good fit with your expectations. We wish you the best of luck at your next repair facility. Jason Green
